Viktor (Ravenclaw)

Wand at the ready, Viktor followed at Harry's shoulder, the loud roar still echoing through his ears. What was that?

Padfoot - Slytherin

The team reached a vast area and saw the door with the word 'EXIT' printed on it: the center of the maze.

As Padfoot ran happily towards the door, a Hungarian Horntail stood up, blocking his way...

He looked back at his teammates and barked excitedly. In the twinkling of an eye, he was holding himself on the Horntail's back, gnawing the key free.

Sprout *slytherin

Sprout bounced up and down excitedly as Padfoot got the key from the Dragon and her team raced to the color coded door.

The key slipped in easily into the lock, and they watched excitedly as the door slid open.

Scared!Elf - Ravenclaw

RRRROOOOOOOOOOOAAAR!

SQUEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!

Her ears went straight up into the air as she saw a massive dragon in front of her, a blue key dangling from his spiky neck. She saw the door and understood immediately.

Key...lock...exit...SQUEAAAL!

Winky looked at Harry, Viktor and Young Barty, with her elfish eyes as large as saucers and totally speechless, but wildly gesticulating with her long ears.

Harry Ravenclaw

Harry stopped running as he turned the corner and saw the dragon for the first time. Turning to Victor and Barty he said " I'm going to try something and need you guys to follow me when I do it ok?

Harry looked at Winky, "Is there any Goat meat in the Hogwarts kitchen?" Winky nodded at Harry. Harry looked at Winky, "Winky, when I say grab the key and run as fast as you can to the door, don't look back we all will be right behind you."

Good everyone get ready Harry raised his wand looked at Victor and Barty to do the same thing and yelled "ACCIO GOAT MEAT"

Severus


As Severus ran, he heard yet another sound - a short, and very alarmed, bleet.

He risked a quick look behind, and saw Ginny and Aberforth running closely behind him and Lily... but the goat was nowhere to be seen...

Bah, we must've lost the thing at the last bend. Well, I'm not waiting for it to catch up! Aberforth brought it along, he can deal with the animal.

He continued running towards what he hoped was the centre of the maze.

Ginny
Hufflepuff

Ginny jumped as deafening roars echoed throughout the arena.

"That sounds close," Severus said urgently, "come on!"

Severus grabbed hold of Lily's free hand and began running with her through the maze, trying to find the place where the noise had come from. Ginny tagged after, and gaped open mouthed as she spotted a Hungrarian Horntail in her path.
'Oh. My. Gosh.'
"Anyone got any plans?" Ginny asked in a panicked voice. The shock of the dragon wiped her mind completely clear of any solution.

Viktor (Ravenclaw)

" I'm going to try something and need you guys to follow me when I do it ok?


With his traditional scowl in place, Viktor raised his wand after seeing Potter do it. Really, how often did this boy find himself in situations where he needed a clear head? He took leadership pretty well...he'd make a good Quidditch captain.

Not wasting much more mental concentration on these thoughts, Viktor shouted "ACCIO GOAT MEAT!"

It was only then that he thought, Vait, vhere vould the goat meat come from?

Panicked!Elf - Ravenclaw

Nice Harry was speaking to her, and his voice calmed her racing mind.

"Winky, when I say grab the key and run as fast as you can to the door, don't look back we all will be right behind you."

She nodded, remembering that in a former life she was used to obey orders. When she had been a House Elf, and was happy with the Crouches.

At least I don't have to punish myself any longer if I mess up, but if I get this wrong, the Dragon might have me as a light shnack! Talking about being out of the frying pan...

"ACCIO GOAT MEAT"

Winky heard the rushing sound of something approaching and was ready to grab that key, her long ears raised up rigidly in the air.

Oh well, Dumbledore won't notice a bit of goat meat missing from the kitchens. He always had such a hard time hiding this from his brother. If Aberforth ever finds out that the Hogwarts House Elves do not just serve beef, pork, turkey, chicken and the occasional Dr...

Suddenly there was an unfamiliar sound.

'Bleeeeeeet!'

I'm hearing things! I must be hearing things.

Harry Ravenclaw

Harry was waiting for packets of meat to come flying in the air and satisfy the very hungry looking dragon in front of him, when he heard the sound of OF A GOAT!!! A non dead whole goat!!!

Harry stood and watched in horror as Alberforth's pet goat with his little collar came rushing toward him and the very now happy looking dragon.

Harry lifted his wand again and yelled EXPECTO PATRONUM, and then directed his stag to lead the poor little goat away as the rest of the meat started dive bombing in front of the dragon.

Winky Run!!!! Harry said as the dragon started sniffing and then eating pieces of meat.

Hurried!Elf - Ravenclaw

Everything happened so fast. There was a bleet, a little white goat, a stag bursting from Harry's wand and then the cue:

'Winky Run!!!!'

As if by magic, her little legs started to move, and her elfish fingers stretched out, grabbed the key, pulled, and the legs kept moving.

SQUEAAAAAAAAAAAL!

Winky could hear a loud roar and her long ears frantically flapped as she felt the air getting hot. She leaped forward, pushed the key into the padlock and turned it forcefully. The padlock clicked open and dropped to the floor, nearly hitting her long elfish foot in the process. Totally out of breath, and with madly flapping ears, Winky started at the door as it...

Barty
Ravenclaw

Barty froze, staring at the dragon ahead. Blimey, she's gorgeous.

The bleat of the goat snapped him out of his trance. What the Merlin...? Barty blinked as he watched his former House Elf ran forwards and unlocked the door.

*Tonks* - Slytherin

Tonks watched is awe as Sirius apparated in dog form to the dragons back and gnawed the key free. Sprout rushed forward first to retrieve the key as it fell, Sirius leapt off the dragons back before It could turn and eat him, and the team rushed forward to the Exit sign. The key turned in the lock and Tonks waited in breathless anticipation.

Severus


"Anyone got any plans?" Ginny asked in a panicked voice.

Severus' eyes narrowed as he saw the key around the nearest dragon's neck. He let go of Lily's hand and raised his wand, holding it with both hands to keep it steady.

"Sectumsempra!" he hissed, gritting his teeth as he concentrated hard.

The spell hit the rope holding the yellow-marked key and severed it, but also hit the dragon's neck. The hide was tough so the spell did not cause the same amount of damage that it would for a wizard, but it was enough of a sting to make the beast roar with anger and throw its head back. The key was flung off and landed on the ground a short distance from the group as the dragon locked its eyes angrily on Severus.

"Someone grab the key and open that door now!" he said urgently, trying not to make any sudden moves.

Ginny
Hufflepuff

Ginny regained herself in time to notice that Severus had freed the key from the dragon's neck- at the cost of making it extremely angry.
'Oh gosh...here we go again...' she thought.

"Someone grab the key and open that door now!" Severus said urgently, standing still.

'Ginny, get a grip on yourself,' her mind shouted at her.

"Accio key!" Ginny said loudly, catching the key in her hand and cringing as the dragon gave an earsplitting roar. "Okay, now lets get to the exit and get out," her voice laced with panic.
