Anonymous Announcer

It's a balmy day here at the Highland Quidditch Pitch, dear friends! Both teams seem to be in great form and this should be a fascinating contest of skill and daring.

...

There's some commotion down there and it looks like the players are making their way out onto the field!

*Tonks*

As she walked out onto the field, Tonks thought to herself, "Crap, I hate to be the first person to arrive somewhere. Everybody's looking at me. Where is the rest of my team?" She turned on the spot to check for her teammates, and tripped over the broomstick she was carrying.

Fleur

As she walked onto the feild, carrying her broom in her fair-toned hand, Fleur smiled confidently. Her feet made little sound on the soft, grassy landscape as she made her way to the center of the Quidditch Pitch. I wonder where ze rest of ze team is, she thought. Her nose wrinkled as she imagined the type of junk that could be getting on the bottom of her shoes - she wished they would arrive so she could become airborn.

Ginny

Ginny stepped onto the field, her flaming red hair flowing with the breeze. She looked around and smelled the air, grinning.
Perfect conditions, She thought, excitement running through her like an electric current. Her broomstick held tightly in her slightly sweaty hand, she walked over to Fleur, who was standing on the opposite side of Tonks on the field.

"I can't wait to get started. I wonder where everyone is?" Ginny said to Fleur curiously.

* Lily * (beater)

Lily walked out onto the pitch, bat in hand, but suddenly turned to face the Amazing Occamy dressing rooms and shouted back.

"And would you please stop it? We're all on the same team, if you haven't noticed, we'll just have to make the best of it!"

With a toss of her head, she strode over to the other players on the pitch, muttering something that sounded suspiciously like "Boys..."

Sprout

Prof. Sprout walked out onto the playing field noticing how nice and green the grass looked today. She noticed a beautiful clump of flowers. She bent down to pick a flowering petuniamimbulus and stuck it in her hat.

She whistled to herself as she bent down and picked a flower for each person on her team. "How lovely we will look," she said, and she handed each of her teammates a flower as they entered the field.

Winky

]Flexing her fine long ears, she bounced excitedly onto the field, her freshly ironed tea-towel fluttering in the breeze.

I'm so excited!

'Young Master Barty!', she squeeked, as she walked over to him, 'have you taken your vitamin potions? And your cod liver oil? And look, look! Your Quidditch robes are all creased! I spent hours ironing them, Young Master!'

Looking at Barty sternly, Winky started to straighten up his robes.

Ron

As he pulled his Quidditch robes on, he leaned over and muttered to Snape, "I really don't know what they were thinking allowing him to join. I reckon he might finish us all off if he got a chance. And that Bellatrix person, she's supposed to be madder than a manticore..."

Then he saw a flash of red hair out of the corner of his eye and heard a rather irritated voice.

"And would you please stop it! We're all on the same team, if you haven't noticed, we'll just have to make the best of it!"

"Oi! Lily!" he exclaimed. "Wonder what's got her wand in a knot?" he said to Snape, while shouldering his broomstick.

As he stood up and left the dressing room, his stomach gave an uncomfortable lurch and his mouth went numb. I have lost my mind, he thought as the sun hit his face and he saw his fellow teammates.

Severus Snape

Severus tried not to look too disdainful as Weasley complained to him, obviously uninterested in hearing his opinion on the subject as the teen had already stood up and left before he'd had a chance to respond.

Idiot. Doesn’t he realise the advantage of having Voldemort and Bella on our team? For a start, their spells will be directed away from us.

He then stood and grasped his broom in one hand while he ran the other through his greasy hair.

But what was Lily so peeved about? It’s not like I did anything. It must be something to do with… him.

Severus clasped both his hands around his broom handle and squeezed as though he were wringing someone’s neck – or more specifically, James’ neck.

How could she accept him? How?!

Gritting his teeth, Severus stalked angrily out of the dressing room and onto the pitch.

Sirius

As he grabbed his robes he wondered where Harry was.

If he doesn't show up soon I have to go find him. Voldemort and Bella might have plans to catch him if they haven't done so already, I have to keep an eye on Crouch, too.

He snatched his broom and strode towards the field.

Moaning Myrtle

Myrtle fluttered forlornly in the breeze. She sighed heavily as she drifted past Professor Sprout, almost ignoring the flower the Professor handed to her.

"A sympathy flower?" she asked, lower lip quivering. "I suppose it's better than nothing.

Lord Voldemort

I guess I have to do this to win He thought to himself as he dressed in his quidditch robes And why couldn't other Death Eaters come? Can't trust me and the better part of my inner circle to play a "fair" game?! He thought angrily as he walked out, realizing he had forgotten both his broom and his bat he waved his left hand and summoned a broom, then his right and summoned a bat.

Looking at the team worthless, mostly. he thought then looking back toward the changing rooms "BELLATRIX!" he shouted calling the last member of his team Might as well be here by myself, but having to follow these 'Rules' I guess I won't kill them... for now.

Tonks

Okay, who's Missing? Tonks looked around at her team. "It's looks like we are only missing Barty and Harry. Thanks for the Flowers, Pamona, they really work well with my hair." Looks around again,"um...I don't mean to be rude, but, Myrtle, How do you...um...how do you hold a bat?"

Referee Hooch

"Captains! Step forward and shake hands. Now, you all know the rules, so I want this to be a fair fight."She eyed Voldemort and Sirius briefly. "No shenanigans." Bending down, Madam Hooch released the balls.

"Three, two, one, *TWEEEEEEE!!!*

Fleur

Before she kicked off the ground, Fleur took the flower she was offered gratefully, as it seemed to compliment her eyes. After that, she went rocketing upward, her hair flowing behind her and glowing with a mysterious light in the sun. She glanced over at Ginny, hoping to catch a friendly glance, yet made sure to watch where she was going, for fear of colliding with a Bludger or unsuspecting teammate or opponent.
