I have problems with faces as well. If it is someone that is close to me or that I have come to distinguish for some reason, I can remember them, but a lot of the time, I can't recognize actors. I don't know many actors, but I'll say "is that the guy from ____?" and people are like "Um, NO?" "Oh..." because a lot of people look the same to me unless I've got something specific about them that makes me remember them.

Which is why it's really weird that I used to watch anime in Japanese and I recognized one of the voice actors. I couldn't see his face, I couldn't even speak his language, but I knew who it was. I'm not usually good at voice recognition much either.
It was a clip I saw on youtube from the Japanese opening to Kingdom Hearts. I thought the voice of Sora was extremely familiar, and at first I couldn't place in, but for some reason when he spoke a particular word (hontou, meaning truth. Kinda funny, isn't it?) I suddenly recognized the voice as Daisuke Niwa from DN Angel, and it turned out to be right.

It's incredibly surprising because I'm terrible and faces and not much better at voices, or, at least not that I thought.


EDIT:
I just read that he's also the voice of Haku from Spirited Away, which is one of my favourite movies. The reason I didn't recognize him from that is that I rarely watch Spirited Away in Japanese, but I've never seen DN Angel in any other language.

Do you speak Japanese? I always thought that would be really complicated to learn.

No, I don't speak Japanese. I always wanted to learn though. It's such a beautiful language. I know enough that sometimes I will understand a short phrase, but I'm usually surprised if it ends up being more than a word or two. I understood a whole line of a song once, which is funny because I didn't know that I understood it until I was singing it one day and suddenly realized "Hey, I know what all of that means!!!"
It was "Sore wa yume no owari, subete o hajimari datta" so it was more than a word or two

Us right before we went to prom. His haircut was new and he could not tame that funny curly thing in the middle of his forehead. Also, my dress blinds you because of the sunlight. I bought that dress super cheap though. I was proud of myself for it.

That's not the best picture of it, but that's probably my favourite picture from the day of prom. I bought the dress without a ribbon (it has corset lacing in the back) from a resale shop for $12.14 (that was the price after tax) and I was amazed. I bought a pretty matching roll of ribbon from Walmart and it worked perfectly. No one even realized that it hadn't come that way. I thought all the dresses I found at the resale shop would be either really ugly or the wrong size. This was a perfect fit and the only pretty dress there, hehe. I loved it though. It was coloured like Cinderella's and the style was one I've always liked. My first choice had been a mermaid style dress (our prom theme was "aquatic dreams," though that wasn't why I wanted the dress. It was deep purple (my favourite colour) and just beautiful) which scrunched up and fit tight at the top then flowed out at the knees, but it was over $350...

Unfortunately, after prom, it's tradition at the choir banquet for seniors to wear their prom dresses and I dropped some chicken on it, so now there's a stain on it... but at prom itself, the dress was fine, hehe.
