I had to post this. I was at work today and I saw this new kid who has an extremely strong resemblence to Harry. On the thin side - black, untidy hair - the glasses - everything. He was adorable. I walked up to the supervisor and said, "So when did Harry Potter start working here?" She laughed and told me everyone's been commenting on that. So it's not just me
Anyways, I thought it was cute and had to share. Anyone else work with or see dead ringers for any characters?

-grins @ Siri- Ooh yeah. My substitute teacher for a certain period looks exactly like my Sirius Black. And he is, ladies and gents, something to gawk over. -swoon-
As for the lookalike-Harry, he indeed sounds adorable. Harry may be an idiot, but at least he looks cute, in a runt-like way.

Oh, my brother is a Harry look-a-like. Glasses and all, and the sad thing is, he doesn't like HP that much. (He is 10) He gets alot of comments on it...but he brushes it off.
Oh, and my old Headmaster at my Catholic School was a dead ringer for Prof Sprout...even though it was a man...:no

Hmm....reminds me of a few intereactions I have had.
My Aunt Laura likes to pretend she's Italian and thus she eats at Olive Garden more than can be considered healthy, and she's been known to drag me along. Well, everytime I go there - EVERY TIME - there's this Harry Potter wannabe working there. Same hair, same eyes, glasses, accent, thinness...it's just plain freaky...

When I was in Secondary School, I had a British woman for a Literature Teacher. She looked ALOT like Petunia Dursley!!! She was kind of mean and snobby too.

At my school, there is a boy, who has light blond hair, steely cold pale eyes, and is about the cruelest kid I know, snide comments and all. He doesn't look like Malfoy from the movie, but he would be cute if he wasn't EVIL. But he does very much so remind me of Draco.

I saw Lily and James walking down the street today! Honest! They were both wearing suits, and the woman had hair just like I imagine Lily's to be (long, thick and red), and the guy had scruffy black hair and glasses. Imagine! On my road too! Amazing really, seeing as they're dead. And fictional.

Guess who's lucky? I'll give you a hint: ME!!!
I just started in 10. grade this week, and a boy from my new class looks a lot like a young Sirius: he has thick, dark, shoulderlengt hair, he's tall, has the cutest, blue eyes and he's so strong, that you wouldn't believe it. And he's so polite, but yet a trickster.
Yay for my luck!

Actually, my youngest cousin is five and the family nickname for him is Harry Potter, since, well, he's got glasses, messy hair (though it's brown not black) and I have recently discovered that he's got a scar on his forehead... which really made me laugh. Not lightening shaped, but a scare, obscured by long bangs...
He's so adorable ^_^
Actually, my old maths teacher had a very Snape-esque nose and head of greasey hair. But compairing him to Snape is quite an insult to everyone's favorite Potions Master

It's quite funny really, 'cause I had a Snape-ish teacher too. She looked nothing like the master, but she certainly acted with the same meaness *shudders*

I saw a guy in Wendy's today that looked exactly like Harry/Crabbe (or was it Goyle?) in the CoS moive after Harry transformed, and still had his glasses on. I thought that was pretty funny and was thinking how cute the little boy was (really only because he had a Harry Potter connection to him) until he stepped out from behind the ketchup stand and revealed his paint covered clothes. It was a grown painter! lol. That I found even funnier than the fact that he looked like Harry/Crabbe-Goyle. Imagine being around 25-30 and people thinking that you are a little boy, a fat annoying one at that...

I had a teacher called Snape - which is pretty cool - however:
1) She was a woman.
2) She was French. And mental.
3) She was nice.
So no match there then. But I bet she gets a lot of stick off students now, there must be so many HP fans in the school - it wasn't out when I had her, y'see...

I did have a teacher who acted like Snape does towards students, she was mean. She was my italian teacher, and I'm as good as Italian as Neville is at Potions. So she'd yell and make sure to put a lot of red squiggles all over my homework.
Once I got something she asked me right, and she just started and stared and stared at me. She was quite shocked, I believe.
Also I recently saw a young man in the streets who looked like what I always thought a young Sirius would look like. I had to restrait myself.
