Umm, well right now, and every half an hour actually I'm listening to <b>[color=maroon]We are by Ana Johnson</b>. It's like my newfound soul bashing song heh. Right before this I was listening to <b> In the End by Linkin Park</b>, and before that to <b> Mama Said by Metallica</b>. I think I'll go for some <b> Michelle Branch</b> next, maybe <b> Leap of Faith</b> or <b> Goodbye to You</b>, or maybe some <b> Placebo</b> or <b> Goo Goo Dolls</b>. This is in my Winamp.
In my CD player I always have the same CD.. <b> Evanescence - Fallen</b> album. It's the best for road trips heh, and I never get out of the house without it.
Sometimes I take out my mp3 colections and replace Evanescence with some <b> Hooverphonic - The Magnificent Tree</b> album, <b> Incubus</b> or <b> The Corrs</b>. <b> Era</b>'s also on my list.
I don't know if it shows out of this, but I don't have a favorite music genre. It all depends on the mood I'm in. Looking at the music I'm listening to today, I guess I might as well go write Azkaban fanfic lolz.

Wow. My first post in AGES! God, I really missed this place! Alright though, to reply to the topic.
I have Savage Garden Affirmation in my diskman right now. I love Savage Garden. Their music just always makes me feel so calm.
Then I have some Junkie XL in my stereo and that's it. I got it for free from a Puma party and I just thought I'd check out what it was.
Well, that's all I've got right now.

Well, actually I changed my CD yesterday hehe. I don't listen very often to CD's, but yesterday I listened to the CD from Hind (she became third on the first edition of Idols in my country, the Netherlands :DD ) I guess I changed it back though... *thinks* yeah, I put a mix CD in it when I finished, it is one from a few months ago... But that is not what I listen most right now: that is the radio :DD . (538 if that says anything to you... probably not haha). The songs that I LOVE are quite a lot:
first Ana Johnson - We Are. Everytime I hear it I put the radio a bit harder, but my mother thinks that 'bit' harder is much too hard and shouts that I have to go upstairs... :no I guess she doesn't like it... *grumble grumble*... (Ok, I admit, I put it a lot harder and sing along so hard they must hear it a few streets further...) Next: Jojo - Leave, get out and Anastacia - Sick and tired, those 2 are already a few weeks old but I still sing along veeeery hard every time!
Ehm, now I have to think a bit... Oh!! Maroon 5 is very good! Though I don't have their CD, I love both songs so far. And I like that new band, Keane or something very much too. But the problem is that I don't have their songtexts (forget to look them up everytime) so I can't sing them... (which is a high condition for me to say if I like the songs or not ).
Further I have the CD of Evanescence and Didoand they are both very good!
Well, I think that was it for now, if I hear something else, I'll edit it <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D]<!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> .
Edit: indeed miru!! Evanescence and Ana rulezzz!!! Woot!

YES YES YES YES YOU ROCK! But it's not in my CD player right now...
Right now, I'm cycling between:
Keane - Hopes and Fears. I'm just discovering them here in America because they aren't popular like in Britain (yet).
Coldplay - Parachutes. I started listening to it again after I saw Garden State because the first song (Don't Panic) of the movie is on this CD... see below.
Garden State Soundtrack - Is absolutely incredible! Like the movie! Which I just saw a second time in one week, by the way. Let Go by Frou Frou is the bestest, as is The Only Living Boy in New York by Simon and Garfunkle. It's happiness factor is tripled if you've seen the movie... SO GO SEE AND LISTEN!
And occasionally I'll switch over to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin files I've got on my computer.
Mostly, Ninja, I avoid mp3s because I like the feel of having a CD, and because the sound is way better.
So... why does my music of the week say about me right now? Obviously... that I'm obsessed with Garden State. And that I like cheese. But all my music says I like cheese. It screams it actually. I'll shut up now.
<span style="font-family:verdana; color: #003399;font-size:xx-small;] "I don't work for Warner Bros..." pointed out Peter, while a sheep gnawed on his hairy feet. "I work for Universal Studios; their lawyers are much more lax and don't understand fully about copyright laws. Or any kind of laws for that matter." Suddenly Eru jumped out of the hot tub and ran over, hugging him. Bill glared at her jealously and sulked. I currently have Wow Worship Gold CD 1 in my CD player. I like going to life teen, and Jesus music (as my criticizing friends call it) is what I like to listen to most of the time. Most of my other CDs are mixes with Ben Foldsand Other Various artists on them.

In my car - well, I don't have a car, and my parents' cars are too old and cr..ummy to have CD players. (But now I have Video Killed the Radio Star stuck in my head... "In my mind, and in my car...")
But in my CD player is Get Born (Jet's first album), in my discman is umm... *checks* oh yeah, a burnt one (shh) from my friend, it has a whole bunch of songs that I won't list, for fear BlackDogstar will get angry at me. But my favourite one on the CD is The Chariot, by Cat Empire. I looooove that song.
And in my mums big stereo thingy I have The Best Of Aretha Franklin - for an assignment at school, I'm not really into bluesy music. It's too slow for me...

Well, do I feel old or what?!? I don't even know most of those bands. I really only listen to trance or jungle beats, but anyways- in the car, I was last listening to Riverdance Soundtrack- love the sound of those taping shoes!
Right now, at my desk, I am listening to POA soundtrack from the WB website.

I, too, make a lot of mix CDs. As for "real" CDs that go in my normal rotation...
Linkin Park - both Hybrid Theory and Meteora
Nirvana - Best of Album.
Our Lady Peace - Gravity
Three Days Grace
No Doubt - The Singles
Smashing Pumpkins - Rotten Apples
Beatles - #1
Okay, so I haven't bought CDs in a little while... must go on shopping
edited for ezcodes being stupid
I shall always decide not to decide, unless of course I decide to change my mind.

Hm..Hermi I envy you if you can go shopping for cd's. Im in permanent bankrupcy (Ok I admit it, not really, but Im one of those odd birds who don't spend their money until they are dying...If only I could spend on cd's..*sigh*). So like Rick said many posts ago, I've gone jukebox, and like Kaneezle said, I could post here weekly and it'd be different. I have songs I like for a while, that I can listen to thousands of time during the day, until I get sick of them, bury them for a while, and like them again in a few months. Right now I listen a lot to (Or this week's lucky winners are):
-The Dark of the matineé -- Franz Ferdinand
-The end of the world -- The cure
-Anything Keane.
-Black ballon-- Goo goo dolls.
-Sister Sister -- The libertines (Yes, I blame you personally Phil.)
-Bigger than my body --John Mayer
-Sad Lisa -- Cat Stevens
-Sexi plexi and Bubble Toes-- Jack Johnson
-I belive in a thing called love -- The darkness
-Autumn Tactics -- Chicane
-Pretty much anything by Tiesto
-The whole Celtic Cevotion CD.

At any given point in time... just like I said. Today I had Fountains of Wayne - Welcome Interstate Managers on repeat in my CD player.

Well, I've completely changed pace at home...due to having to clean and it's a little hard to clean to moody folksy esoteric wonders...
So, I've got Thicke-Beautiful World (most underated album...everything Timberlake wishes he could be), though don't be fooled...
I've got JT right up next to him-after seeing him in a kilt in GQ-I had some serious fantasizing to do...
*shakes butt while mopping*
*sings into mop handle*
I'm also a dancer so I have a fair bit of stuff worth shaking it too...
In the car...I've returned to one of my old favs...
The Flaming Lips-Soft Bulletinbest record of 1999.
PS...Accio, I know who all those people are. I'm a music geek.
