Hello, fellow Sirius Black fans and mourners. My name is Ella and I am a part of the Sean Biggerstaff Message Board. (For those of you who don't know, Sean Biggerstaff played Oliver Wood in the HP movies.) I and many of my friends have been seriously grieved by the sudden passing of Sirius Black, so I decided to hold a memorial service for him. Well, I see a lot of people agree... J.K. literally squeezed the life out of Sirius up 'til the very end <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :nono --><img src=http://pages.prodigy.net/siriusblack/boards/smilies/nonono2.gif ALT=":nono]<!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> . It's been five days, and I'm still mourning. Like with most of you, he was the one that spiced up the series for me. And I will really miss him. That is if, (as a little voice in my head keeps hoping) he isn't really gone.

What infuriated me was the way she played with my feelings. First, by letting me live it through Harry's eyes, and then by showing all this loopholes that could have prevented his demise. Little by little she tried to make me understand he was really, really dead.

At least Luna's words where kind of comforting. But still, I would have rather Sirius stayed alive... That no one I learned to care about had died. <span style="color:maroon;font-family:comic sans ms;]I know exactly how you both feel, I finished reading the book about four days ago and I don't think it's properly sunk in yet, I mean, why Sirius?! I really didn't see that one coming, blinded by love I guess!

I can relate to what Black Skye was saying aswell, it felt as though JK put you through all these different emotions in the space of about a minute! Sirius gets killed and it's all upsetting, but then you still cling on to the hope that he isn't really gone, even though deep down in there somewhere, you know it's true. You find out he's not coming back as a ghost, but finding out about the Veil from Luna...well it gives you yet more hope that this is not the last we will see of Sirius, alive or not. Personally, I'm putting my faith in that Veil to let us hear something more of our beloved Snuffles!

Yes, it seemed that J.K. gave us at least some hope in the form of Luna. Luna will become very important in these books, mark my words!

Yeah, the death really upset me. I mean, it hurt so much...If you go to Sirius Spoilers and read the post of mine Siri re-directed there, you'll know how much. Anyway, it's really sweet of you all to care so much about how us Sirius fans feel. Thankies.

I'm new on this board... In fact it's the first time I ever visited it... And I'm glad I found it because at least here I can read from people who feel the same about Sirius...

I'm one of the many "older" people who love to read the HP books. (I graduated from university more than 5 years ago...)



I finished OOTP three hours ago and I'm crying like crazy because my favorite HP character got killed of. Last time I cried over a book was when I was 16 (so for me a long time ago) and I didn't really think that would happen to me as a grown-up person again.

Sirius is a wonderful character (can't get myself to say "was") and I really cared about him. There is no HP character I don't like, but Sirius was my absolute favorite. One thing I loved about him was that he had a bit of a wild side to him but on the other hand he really cared about Harry and other people close to him.



I had a feeling even before I started reading the book that he would be the character killed off because I thought it would be somebody close to Harry and I've heard it wouldn't be Ron or Hermione. So I thought it would be either Sirius or Dumbledore... I never feared about Hagrid because he is the "clumsy comic relief" kind of character whom usually never gets killed.



Through the whole book I was hoping, please, don't kill Sirius and in contrary to the previous books I was hoping we would NOT be a whole lot in it... (although I enjoyed reading so much about him.) Well, I was worried every time I saw his name appear on the page... And I wasn't surprised that they killed him but I was surprised HOW and WHEN he got killed. I thought that he would get killed by Voldemore and would have a more glorious death... Hm... hm...



Other than that I enjoyed the book a lot. I had to force myself to read only a few chapters a day so that I could enjoy it longer.



PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, bring Sirius back. I don't care in what form but the books wouldn't be the same without him. Neither would be the movies... I was sooo much looking forward to the next movie since it will introduce Sirius but now I won't enjoy it watching so much anymore knowing that he just gets introduced into the 3rd book to get killed in the 5th...



AND it wouldn't be the first time a popular fictional character is getting brought back to live successfully and without doing it the cheap way...
