Great posts ladies...a fantastic introduction to your style for the characters.

Though its not quite time to go full swing into the story, (I'd lie to wait until the Birthday celebrations are over) it’s wonderful to see the story moving forward again. As we're having trouble attracting faculty it seems that we may need to puppet as we go, or some people who are willing may need to double up.

As it stands all of the Professors, Andromeda, Filch and Madam Pomfrey are all available. Please continue to poke your RPG friends, let them know we don't bite. People who've never RPG'd before are welcome to join us.

Already figured a way to keep that straight in the posts, since I'm doing it already with my other character in another thread, and taking out my signature in the threads because I want space for it... just ironing out the wrinkles in the code...

And if anyone *wants* Dumbledore later, just let me know, I'll be happy to hand him over. This way at least we can get the plot thickening...

I think it has come to the point where we are going to have to double up. For the time being I'll keep Flitwick, unless someone comes along to claim him. Indy if you'd like to play Dumbledore as well that is fine. Any other takers? That leaves Pomfrey, Filch, McGonagall, Slughorn and Andromeda. I think Plynn may want to play Andromeda though. In any case we'll be going into full swing really soon, I'm just waiting for the birthday RPG to end then I'll make a game mistress post and everything will be in full swing.

Firstly, *hugs* to Missy, and hope things turn up for the better soon. She's probably too wrapped in RL right now to post, and rightly so, so I'll let Cazza do that.

Here's the part we were talking about in chat to get the ball rolling - can you tell I've had to slog through a lot of old stories and histories in research for my writing? Maybe that's why I'm a stickler for spelling, even if I can understand what's being said in things like Chaucer (mostly) and undergrad papers (generally). heh heh!

And yes, quite often I've bought books and thought what a great offensive weapon they could be. Especially the dictionaries, thesauri, and history texts - I can only imagine the combination of these three with magic would be a heavy (and destructive) tome indeed. *snicker*

Missy has got a lot of RL to deal with at the moment so I'm helping her out with a bit by rpg-sitting (along with a few others). She'd planned to officially re-start the rpg on Saturday, so I'll be posting a short 'GM' introduction then.
