Coming from good ol' Texas, I can't help but quickly put Sirius in what is supposed to typical Texan garb. Also, it is a v. nice image. He would totally rock the Stetson cowboy hat, snug Levi's, and Red Wing boots. Seeing him ride a horse well is always a turn-on for any country girl and I'm sure Sirius was good at anything he ever did. I definitely think I could see Sirius drinking imported Mexican beer like Corona and Dos XX. He'd always be tailgating and watching football and throwing ranch parties on the Black Ranch too!

Echoing what hads been said allready, he would look great in levis and a cowboy hat. But I am seeing something else too. Either a rockstar or be part of a motorcycle gang. I can see him wiht an eletric guitar on stage singing to something like Metallica "unforgiven" or maybe Saliva" Ladies and gentlemen"

Other than that, I can see him as a major legue baseball player, or maybe even in basketball. Alos for some weird reason I can see him teaching martial arts. Please don't ask me why because I don't know.

If Sirius was a Kiwi he'd:

Be a binge drinker.
Have his motorbike from the age of 15, becasue thats when he can get his licence.
Have his licence taken off him at the age of 16, because he's not allowed to have passengers yet.
Would have been arrested at least once for being a boy racer.
Would own a pair of "stubbies" (ridiculously short men's shorts which had a horrible tendancy to ride up and make beer guts look bigger than necessary)
Would idolise these guys:

Bee, you're a genius. Gotta love a boy in Levis...especially TIGHT levis, but thats another subject all together. Personally, Ive always pictured him in the jeans and shirt-what-shirt get up. I just always pictured him as a man that cant seem to keep track of his shirt. At least in younger days.

As for the comment about "stubbies," Im new to the idea and I dont think I like it! Men usually = hairy thighs and Id really rather not. It did make me laugh picturing it though. Well if Sirius was a New Jerseyan:

- he would be a horribler driver but hey he would fit right in..
- listen to Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi
- would go to Philly and NYC
- he would love all the diners that are on every highway... same with malls
- he might go to the Jersey Shore every summer and rent a beach house..

If Sirius was a Georgian (and I mean the US state. You probably figured that out, but it's a blond day for me.):

*he'd root for the Braves, even through the rotten years (not nearly as easy as it sounds. Trust me.)
*he'd root for the Dawgs
*he'd be against Georgia Tech and all that it stands for (no offense to Tech fans)
*he'd have a country accent (different from a Southern drawl, it's more like a hick sounding thing. No offense, I've got this accent myself. I love it, actually)
*he'd use WAY too many prepositions when he spoke (Way down there down yonder that'a way. No joke, we say stuff like this. And it's cool when we do it!)

Well, seeing as Sirius was English, and i'm (mostly) English, I'll do:
...if Sirius was Welsh (no offence to any welsh members!);
-he'd have a lovely lilt to his voice and say 'isn't it'? at the end of most sentences
-he'd probably know some welsh gaelic
-would not be amused if anyone implied he had intimate relations with a sheep

Alright, I don't think this one has been done yet, so:

If Sirius was a South African:

- Every second word would be "Lekker" or "Ag, man!"

- He'd eat a "sarmie" not a "sarnie" (SA slang for sandwich)

- He'd greet people with a "Howzit!"

- He'd say "Ja" instead of "Yeah"

- He probably would like Rugby

- His broom, motorbike and other valubles would probably get stolen

- If he was in Cape Town, he would have a hectic Afrikaaner's accent!

- He'd drink a lot of beer (especially whilst watching sport)

oh yes...for the welshness...rugby would be a given! and a dislike of the english

-He'd constantly be asked if he ever did any modeling (he might say yes!)

-He'd want to go to USC after Hogwarts because they were Gryffindor colors

-He'd insist the Marauders go hiking, then transform into Padfoot so he didn't have to carry any gear

-He wouldn't let Prongs transform anywhere near the road (deer caught in headlights anyone?)

Well if Sirius were German,
-he would be excited when Germany was reunified, so he and Remus could travel in die Neues Bundeslander
-he would drink room temperature beer, because cold drinks are unhealthy
-he would have lost his ID several times before he turned eighteen, because he wouldn't want to leave the disco at midnight!
-he would have a bicycle for his main mode of transport
-his parents would've supported the Nazis

And if Sirius were from Saskatchewan, Canada,
-he would cheer for the Roughriders, and not the Blue Bombers
-and Canadian football is much better than American football
-he would go to parties out on someone's farm land, and hope the cops didn't catch him driving home afterwards
-he probably would've gotten a girl pregnant in high school
-he would love perogies (and at least one of the Marauders would be Ukrainian)
-he would be into the local music scene and go to shows every weekend
-he would have lived in a small town, but left right after high school, and his parents would be racist against the First Nations people

And the mix... if Sirius were a German living in Saskatchewan,
-he would've only spoken German until he had to learn it when he went to school
-his family name would have been spelled different than his cousins, even if they were originally the same name

Ok, if Sirius was Irish:
-he'd have either a really strong Waterford accent or maybe Dublin-northside mostly to annoy his parents cause they'd have posh southside accents probably
-he'd - obviously - drink a lot
-he'd play hurling- the best sport in the world- for the Waterford county team, scoring 5 or 6 goals against Kilkenny naturally
-he'd love the band Thin Lizzy
-he'd look like either Colin Farrell or Jonathan Rhys Meyers *drools*
-he would NOT be a skanger like all the guys round where I live
-he wouldn't be too fond of the English
-he wouldn't care less about how he looks
-the only thing he'd be able to say in Irish would be "pog mo thoin" (kiss my a**) and "cuinus bothar cailin bainne" - and only that cause of the Carlsberg ad
-he'd show his affection for friends by insulting them regularly and get a lot of slagging back - but only messing of course
-he'd curse a lot
-he'd always be late for everything
