It would be pretty cool to have a wand. Buit then its gotta be such a dissapointment when it come and you yell STUPEFY at someone and all they do is laugh. Histerically. Never mind though just use it to poke them in the eye that will sort them. Nobodies going to be laughing at you again. Oh no.
Sorry I dozed off what did I miss?

I love most all wands. I have a "Sirius Black" wand, from a site not linked above - but it is in one of the other posts in this forum.
I recently ordered some wands from Alivan's; I'll see how they are when I get them. I have bought other stuff from Alivan's in the past - no problems with ordering from them, it was always an enjoyable experience.
There is a giant markup on most of the wands; true. Also, I think that site that is sold out needs to change their page and either add more inventory or close!

A guy that I work with does modeling (as in makes models, not IS a model) and he offered to make me a wand. I think it cost him about $4 and took a couple of hours to do. Unfortunately, these pictures do it no justice. The absolute coolest thing about it is it lights up with a red LED at the tip. Up until recently, I don't think there were any wands out there that actually lit up. I am going to try to take some better pictures though, cause it is very nicely done. Its made out of some sort of foamy clay stuff, so its quite pliable as well.

That is such a cool wand! And that bag is awesome! lol
You know, ask him if he would do an Immeritus sale. We could almost do it as a mini-fund raiser. Just a couple bucks per wand or something like that.
OR.... we could buy bulk and send them out as prizes as well!
I would love one with a dark wood (not red) with a blue led. omg *dies* That would be so rad!

Oh yeah, Mag! Or - a white LED -
That way you could shout "LUMOS!" and not look like a complete wierdo (I mean, you get light to see by)
Spiffy Keen!
(And I got the wierdest flash of imagination, what would Arthur Weasley say if he found one of these wands? "Look - look - it has batteries!!!)

Now I know what to spend my large amounts of birthday money on! I heard of Alivan's a couple years ago but since have completely forgotten about it. Also, you're wand is awesome! I love the light. So, I think I'm just going to have to purchase a wand from Alivan's! Wow, I'm excited already!

It's pretty and I like the evocation of Sirius thoughts from it, but it's not quite what I'd picture Sirius actually using.
The time turner, though...
Wand wise, I really like dragonmother.com She has teak and rosewood wands that I really like and does beautiful work with metal banding. Someday, when I'm a big girl, I'll get one.

Wow, those are some beautiful wands, Dragonmon! Welcome to Immeritus!
I have yet to purchase a wand because in the end, I am just not a CosPlayer. I think that what I have been waiting for is the perfect combination of price, decorative effect, and usability. It would mostly live on some shelf on display, but ocassionally would be brought out for special ocassions - which seem to be coming to a major slow-down in the HP world. Because of my lack of use of said object, I wouldn't want to pay too much for it.
That being said, at a quick glance, you offer great combinations of all of the above. I will have to look more closely, and remember to check back with you when I have money!

*drools* I want a wand so badly. I have no idea what I would do with it - probably just put it on a stand on my bedroom shelf and adore it from all angles.
I mean, I would LIKE to tuck it rakishly into the back pocket of my jeans and take it everywhere with me - but I would so forget it was there, sit down, and then a loud SNAP would be the last I would ever know of it.
